Replacement Metal Sound Probe for EngineEAR, EngineEAR II and ChassisEAR Diagnostic Tools

Replace a damaged, broken, or lost stethoscope probe in your EngineEAR or ChassisEAR kit with an official STEELMAN 413 Replacement Metal Sound Probe. This metal probe works as an ultra-sensitive pick-up which allows the user to quickly pinpoint problematic noises and the locations of worn bearings and bushings, noisy valves and lifters, broken or worn gear teeth, faulty fuel injectors, wind or air leaks, or other annoying squeaks and rattles. Constructed with a 5-inch long solid aluminum, tapered tip rod, this probe can pick up the faintest vibrations and transmit them to an attached microphone pick-up (not included) for focused, hands-on diagnosis. A snug-fitting rubber boot on the end attaches easily and securely to the main diagnostic device and provides anti-conduction protection for the metal tip to prevent the transmission of static electricity that can shock and damage sensitive electronic components and onboard computers.
