Made from drop forged and heat treated chrome vanadium (Cr-V) steel, this socket has a polished chrome finish that resists rust and corrosion and is also easy to wipe clean of oil, grease, and dirt. The 6-point design grips onto fastener sides, not their corners, to reduce the chance of rounding and wear. The deep well of the socket enables it to access fasteners on extended bolts too long for standard shallow sockets to reach. Easy to read socket size markings and callouts are laser etched into the steel and won't fade or rub away.
